Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone, born on 5 January, 1986 (pronounced as [diPIkaPaduko] or [paDukoor [paDuko]), is an Indian film actress. She is most often seen in Hindi-language films. Her accolades include the three Filmfare Awards. She is the highest paid actors. Her name is listed in lists for the country's most renowned stars; Time named her one of the 100 most influential people around the globe in 2018. In 2018, she received an award called the TIME100 Impact Award in 2022. Padukone is her mother's badminton legend Prakash Padukone. She was raised in Bangalore and born in Copenhagen. In her teens she participated in badminton competitions at National level competitions. She later walked away from her career in the sport to become a fashion model. She soon began receiving offers to act in films and her first acting role was as Aishwarya, the Kannada title character. Padukone performed alongside Shah Rukh Khan a dual actor in Om Shanti Om, her debut Bollywood film. It was awarded an award from the Filmfare Award as Best Female Debut.
